Robert Laurus Award

 

 

 

The Robert Laurus Award is presented to a graduate student for outstanding research.  The winner is selected from among competing students presenting posters at the annual AAAS Caribbean Division Conference.  The conference will be held on Saturday, 20 October 2007 at Inter American University, Bayamón Campus. Interested parties must send an abstract to jorgecr@caribe.net (copy  d_fernandez@webmail.uprh.edu) or to the Division’s postal address (electronic version). Abstracts must be RECEIVED no later than September 15. The text of the abstract should not exceed 250 words and the title is limited to 45 characters, followed by address and e-mail. The poster should be 90 cm x 120 cm. and will be defended in English and the winner must be prepared to travel abroad. The winner receives an award and all expenses covered to present the work at the national conference in February.
